We are a non-profit organization dedicated to sharing Chinese Martial Arts (Kung Fu) with our communities. Kung fu builds strength, character, and fighting ability. Best of all, it’s great fun!

We expect students to be diligent, hard working, and positive members in our communities. After all, “kung fu” means “skill achieved through great effort.”

We strive to run our association without greed or self-interest and to prioritize equity and accessibility in everything we do. We encourage students to become members of the non-profit so that we can make decisions democratically. Together, we will always seek to keep costs for students at the minimum while fairly compensating our instructors and staff and maintaining high-quality training.

While we support students who choose to compete at the local, national, or international level, we condemn a win-at-all-costs attitude. Competition is a method of testing and mutual development, not a goal in itself.

We’ll bring some medals North; but we’ll do it with honour and respect.

We will always seek to respect our traditions while refining them with the cutting edge of sports science and pedagogy. Just like our students, we will never stop learning and growing.
